Following on from the introduction of our HR sector employees in “meet the team” this month we will be introducing you to one of the founders of Intro Personnel.
Rob Hulse, Company Director, spoke with us about his life before Intro Personnel and how Intro Personnel came to be.
How did you start your career in Recruitment?
One of my school friends worked at a company called Extra Personnel and got me a job at their Cannock office. He still works in Recruitment today too!
Why did you want to set up your own recruitment agency?
The main attraction was doing things the way myself and Rob wanted to, so we could focus on our ‘best practice’ rather than following the ideas of another company. At the risk of sounding over-confident, I knew setting up Intro would be a success too!
What sets Intro Personnel apart from other recruitment agencies?
At Intro Personnel we love the North Staffordshire area, we’re Proud Potters! Through this I feel we have expert knowledge of the region’s job market; whether that’s which companies are recruiting or moving to the area, what market rates are for salaries across a variety of sectors, or which skills / experience are experiencing a shortage locally. I think this knowledge helps us to recruit really effectively.
When you aren’t at Intro Personnel, what will we find you doing?
As mentioned, I love the area so you’ll find me either, watching Stoke City FC, at the same gym I’ve been a member at for nearly 20 years, or doing my best to support the local hospitality industry!
