Quality Engineer; Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire; circa £45,000

One of North Staffordshire's leading engineering organisations is recruiting. This company has enjoyed significant growth and expansion in recent times and is looking forward to a busy order book and new projects over the foreseeable future. This technical opportunity within the company’s Quality department will play a key role in the future improvement of the business’ daily manufacturing operations.

The Quality Engineer will support the upskilling of the Quality department in line with customer expectations and the growth of the business. The main responsibilities of the role are as follows;

  • Using methodology such as PPAP, PFMEA, 5why & APQP / NPI to apply a structured approach to problem solving and operational streamlining
  • Analysing quality related data including working with the wider Quality team to continuously improve the structure of data analysis within the department
  • Root cause analysis to investigate issues / problems and identify areas across manufacturing for improvement

Applicants to the Quality Engineer vacancy should have quality engineering experience gained from a similar fast-paced engineering environment. Those applying should be well-versed in a range of methodology such as PPAP, PFMEA and root cause analysis.

Those interested should also have the depth of knowledge to upskill the Quality department and the confidence to share that experience amongst the Quality team.
