PRODUCTION PROCESS OPERATIVE
LEEK AREA
AVERAGE OF 42.5 HOURS PER WEEK
SHIFT PATTERN INCLUDES 12 HOUR DAY/NIGHT SHIFTS AND WEEKENDS
PERMANENT
UP TO £37K DOEÂ
THE ROLE
- Carry out instructions of and support the Shift Team Leaders regarding plant, safety and quality operations, operating in line with Standard Operating Procedures
- Maintain supervision of processes and equipment within the plant area
- Contribute to continuous plant/process improvements and use a structured approach to problem solving
- Maintain the smooth operation of the plant and processes
- Carry out efficient inter shift handover of plant to the oncoming team
- Report any incident (Safety or Environmental) immediately to minimise risk of reoccurrence and subsequently co operate in any investigations
- Contribute to all business health and safety initiatives
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Experience in a process manufacturing environment is essential
- IOSH qualified or willing to achieve
- Current Counterbalance FLT licence or willing to achieve
- Expected to achieve Level 2 competence skills in Plant processes/Site Services and HSE
- A flexible approach to working hours is required
Due to the location of the Production Process Operative role, it is advisable for interested applicants to possess their own transport as access to our client’s site is extremely limited via public transport.
