WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE

STOKE ON TRENT

FULL TIME HOURS – 9.30AM – 18.30PM

£26,800

THE ROLE 

• Unloading, checking & accepting deliveries
• Verifying stock integrity
• Reporting shortages, damage and errors in deliveries
• General movement of goods
• Accurately picking stock to fulfil orders
• Accurately packing orders with due regard for: adequate protection, weight constraints and shipping regulations
• Prioritising orders for international delivery
• Accurately recording consignment data e.g. weights, dimensions, on internal and/or courier systems
• Handover of consignments to couriers
• Co-operation with the QA function
• Adherence to H&S and Housekeeping, including preparation for the upcoming day

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Experience of working within a computerised stock warehouse environment (computer & scanning work)
• A Counterbalance FLT licence would be beneficial
• Positive, hardworking, fast paced, pro-active and friendly approach with good communication skills
• Trustworthy with ability to work confidently and consistently to a high standard
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Motivated to deliver exceptional service levels
• A DVLC as some support with local deliveries may be needed
