GENERAL LABOURER

STOKE ON TRENT

FULL TIME HOURS – 39 BETWEEN MON-FRI

TEMPORARY CONTRACT

£12.80 PER HOUR 

THE ROLE

Our client is one of North Staffordshire’s most established engineering companies with a consistently healthy order book.  Due to continued success, they are looking to recruit 2 x General Labourers to provide support in their Weld Shop and Laser Press departments.  This would be on an initial temporary contract of between 8 and 12 weeks.

This position will involve general labouring duties within a busy engineering environment, including some heavy lifting and manual handling tasks.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Interested applicants should have previous experience within a labouring role, preferably within an engineering environment, although this is not essential.  A flexible approach to work and an adaptable nature is also required.

Applicants should also be aware that there will be a drug and alcohol test on the first day of the assignment during the induction process. 

Applicants should also be aware that this company has set holidays in line with key customers that need to be adhered to.
