SUPPLY CHAIN PLANNER
LEEK AREA
FULL TIME HOURS MONDAY TO FRIDAY
TEMPORARY 3 - 6 MONTHS
£31K - £33K DOE
THE ROLE
- Proactively monitoring customer order demand vs. actual consumption, whilst identifying and communicating any potential issues
- Ensure OTIF targets are met and provide improvement strategies
- Manage the stock holding across several platforms, replenishment, stock planning & reconciliation with Finance at month end
- Chair and facilitate regular customer demand meetings to review all products to ensure accurate forward requirements
- Maintain effective communication with the Sales, Customer Service team and other departments on all customer related issues
- Provide back up to other team members to ensure seamless order flow
- Ensuring timely payments from customers, escalating overdues & follow up with customers accordingly
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Previous experience within a similar role in a manufacturing environment is required
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Customer focused with the ability to engage and influence across a range of business functions
- Experience of using SAP is highly desirable
- Good knowledge of MS Excel
Due to the location of the Supply Chain Planner role, it is advisable for interested applicants to possess their own transport as access to our client’s site is extremely limited via public transport.
