The Pricing Specialist is a commercially focused and analytically driven role, responsible for ensuring competitive, profitable, and sustainable pricing across assigned product areas.

MON-FRI 8AM – 4.30PM
ONE DAY PER WEEK HYBRID AFTER PROBATION

UP TO £38.5K DOE
THE ROLE
- Develop, maintain, and optimise pricing rules, ensuring alignment with commercial targets and market positioning
- Monitor OEM vs. compatible/remanufactured product price relationships
- Review daily Auto Pricing Summaries, resolving unpriced lines by adding competitors, adjusting rules, or applying manual fixes
- Take ownership of developing and improving pricing processes, tools, and systems
- Track and analyse competitor activity, including SKU and Google Shopping ID mapping
- Monitor channel-specific pricing performance (e.g., Google Shopping, Email campaigns) optimising to balance sales and profitability
- Maintain awareness of market trends, competitor strategies, and category developments to identify opportunities for margin improvement
- Oversee the set-up of new products across relevant systems
- Ensure new products are integrated into margin sheets and relevant offer files
- Review and deliver regular reporting on pricing performance, profitability, and competitive positioning
- Analyse product family performance, identifying reasons for changes in sales, traffic, or conversion
- Use reporting insights to recommend and implement enhancements to pricing rules, workflows, and systems, ensuring continuous improvement of the pricing ecosystem
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Educated to degree level (Business, Economics, Mathematics, Data Analytics) or equivalent experience in a commercial, analytical, or data-related field
- Demonstrable experience using data to inform pricing decisions and business strategy
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and working with large datasets
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in Ecommerce would be desirable but not essential
- Knowledge of SQL, BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), or Python for data analysis would be advantageous
