Planning Engineer; Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire; up to £35K

One of North Staffordshire's most successful Engineering companies is recruiting. They are currently looking to appoint a Planning Engineer.

The Planning Engineer will be responsible for

  • Reviewing engineering drawings and designs from customers
  • Planning the specifications, tooling and timing of customers’ orders through the applicable stages of manufacturing
  • Planning orders to ensure quotes are competitive, capacity is optimised and lead times are accurate, including use of an ERP database.

 

Applicants for the Planning Engineer vacancy should have relevant planning, specifying or quoting experience gained from an engineering environment and be comfortable reading engineering drawings.

Those applying should also have skills with MRP / ERP systems or CAD / CAM software.

Applicants should also have a great work ethic and be well organised and pro-active, to work well in this busy environment.
