CNC MACHINE OPERATIVE

STOKE ON TRENT

FULL TIME HOURS – 39 BETWEEN MON-FRI

PERMANENT

UP TO £22 PER HOUR DOE 

THE ROLE

  • Machining of various parts from steel bar, castings or profiles, including finishing, cleaning and inspecting each part to ensure they conform to customer drawings and quality requirements adopting a right first-time approach
  • Programming, setting and operating of Fanuc CNC machines in line with company procedures
  • Machine maintenance as per company procedures
  • Requesting consumables and tooling as required
  • Following and conform to the Companies Health and Safety and Quality Procedures at all times
  • Providing the highest standards of customer service at all times
  • Adopting a right first-time approach
  • Keeping a clean and tidy work area at all times

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR 

  • Previous experience in a similar role using CNC lathes
  • CNC Programming and setting experience
  • Able to read customer drawings

 Applicants should be aware that this company has set holidays in line with key customers that need to be adhered to.

A drug and Alcohol test will also be carried out during the recruitment process.
