Description

An expanding specialist Engineering firm is looking to strengthen it’s dedicated and highly skilled workforce with skilled Machinists to work traditional engineering day shifts, following an investment in new machinery and an increase in engineering capacity.

This organisation is a leading supplier of precision components to sectors including: rail, aerospace, mining and power generation.  Over the last 30 years these Engineers have specialised in the design and manufacture of niche equipment using over 30 leading edge cutting, grinding, turning and boring machines as well as state of the art inspection equipment and are accredited to ISO9001 and EN9100 (aerospace) quality standards.

These new roles will involve full responsibility for CNC Lathe work including setting controls inline with job specifications, producing specialist parts to tight tolerances and inspecting work. Those applying should have;

  • CNC Turning experience
  • Familiarity with Fanuc and/or Mazak controls (or alternative)
  • Capability of reading technical drawings
  • Experience of working to close tolerances
