This month, Intro Personnel have been working in partnership with JCP’s Employer Team and AAH Pharmaceuticals as the latter are closing their Stoke On Trent distribution centre this summer/autumn due to site relocation. This has led to the unfortunate redundancies of over 200 staff, many of which work within the warehousing side of AAH’s business. As we have a wide range of Jobs in Stoke On Trent available, we were keen to provide support to these people in any way possible.
Jobs Fair
Thanks to our excellent relationship with Job Centre Plus’ Employer Team, we were invited to attend AAH’s internal jobs fair on 10th May. This was designed to provide guidance and advice to the employees affected by the distribution centre closure in an informal setting. At our Intro Personnel stand, we were able to meet a diverse range of AAH employees and showcase some of our Jobs in Stoke On Trent. The event lasted for 4 hours and was well attended with other businesses on hand to support. We were very proud to be the only local recruitment agency invited and would like to say a big thank you to Andy from JCP for his sterling work and also to AAH for their kind invitation.
Our Consultative Approach
This event demonstrates the consultative approach that Intro Personnel takes to providing recruitment services to North Staffordshire. Whilst we consistently have a large number of live Jobs in Stoke On Trent, there are also times where the local business community will experience the unfortunate side of business closures or relocation and we have a proven track record of supporting companies that have had to take difficult decisions that have such an impact on the local workforce.
