Warehouse Supervisor; Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire; Circa £43K

Experienced leader with a background in warehousing, required to assist with managing a busy warehouse and distribution facility.

This role will require working rotational shifts; 6.00am-2.00pm / 12.00pm -8.00pm Monday to Friday, and will involve the following:

  • Ensuring distribution schedules and deadlines are met.
  • Manage inventory accuracy through monitoring of warehouse daily activities, cycle counts, and stock takes.
  • Plan and allocate warehouse labour.
  • Train and monitor staff in standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Monitor performance and activities of the warehouse through the use of KPIs with primary focus on quality and cost control.
  • Health and Safety compliance in accordance with company policy.
  • Carry out regular Team Meetings.
  • Ensure efficient operation of the warehouse through regular monitoring of product storage areas and frequency of picking activity.

  • 5/6s and Continuous improvement knowledge.
  • Experience to drive and develop their team.
  • Excellent communication and IT skills.
