THE ROLE

Our client is one of North Staffordshire’s most established engineering companies with a consistently healthy order book.  Due to continued success, they are looking to recruit experienced MIG and/or TIG Welders for an initial temporary contract of up to 12 weeks.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR 

• Applicants will need to be experienced in MIG and/or TIG welding on medium to heavy gauge steel and be familiar with working within a busy production welding environment
• Robot operator experience would be advantageous but not essential
• Applicants will need fabrication experience and the ability to read engineering drawings

The interview stage will involve passing a Weld Test.  Applicants should also be aware that there will be a drug and alcohol test on the first day of the assignment during the induction process. 

Applicants should also be aware that this company has set holidays in line with key customers that need to be adhered to.
