Employer confidence remains unaffected on hiring decisions throughout 2013 despite fears of a triple dip recession. This comes from a recent survey of 600 employers by the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC). The report from the REC showed that the job market in the UK will likely continue to grow through 2013, when more than half of employers questioned stated that they plan to hire more permanent workers within the next 3 months. A majority of employers also have plans to increase their use of temporary agency staff.
