A survey taken out by the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB), which represents around 200,000 small companies in Britain, has shown that confidence in small businesses has now doubled compared to the period between the months of April and June of this year. David Cameron said that the survey was “an encouraging sign that the economy is turning the corner”. For the first time since the report began back in 2010, more companies are looking to increase their workforce rather than reduce it. This can also be linked to the official unemployment figures which have also recently fallen to 7.7 per cent, indicating that the economy is definitely on its way into recovery.
