A survey on employment by JobsOutlook, from the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) has also revealed that 76% of employers have stated that they will take on more permanent staff over the next 3 months, while 48% predicted that their use of temporary workers would also increase. This is in addition to the proportion of employers who plan to increase their headcount, which is currently at the highest level since the JobsOutlook survey began in March of 2011. More than a quarter (28%) of employers questioned in the survey indicated that they would give some or all of their staff a pay rise this year.Jobs in Stoke on Trent

The economic picture is also looking strong as forecasters have now predicted that the UK economy will grow faster this year than it was originally thought, changing its growth forecast from 2.4% up to 2.7%. They also predicted that Gross Domestic Product (GDP) will also rise 2.3% in 2015, up from the earlier forecast of 2.2%. It has also recently been announced that the UK inflation rate fell to a four year low of 1.7% last month.
