Number of Unemployed People in North Staffordshire Continues to Fall!

North Staffordshire was given a boost this week when it was revealed that the number of unemployed people in the region fell by 41% compared with a year ago.  It is reported that 6907 people claimed Jobseekers’ Allowance in September 2014 across the region – representing a fall of 4732 when compared to September 2013.  In Stoke On Trent, the number of claimants fell by 38% year on year with Newcastle Under Lyme and the Staffordshire Moorlands also dropping by 44% and 41% respectively. We have reported on several occasions recently that the number of job vacancies within various sectors continues to be high across our region and with the number of people seeking work falling dramatically, we believe that now is a great time to be looking for a new career opportunity.

Intro Personnel continue to work closely with a wide range of local companies to provide both temporary and permanent job opportunities for local people.  We have an active job board which displays our current vacancies at www.intropersonnel.co.uk/jobs/ and all our latest jobs are also posted onto Facebook and LinkedIn
