PART TIME PAYROLL MANAGER

STOKE ON TRENT

PART TIME – 28 HOURS MON TO FRI

3 DAYS IN OFFICE, 2 DAYS HOME WORKING

PERMANENT

£29K PER ANNUM PLUS POTENTIAL BONUS

 THE ROLE

  • Controlling and pre-authorisation of the payroll for both weekly and monthly submissions
  • Management of Payroll Administrator
  • Responsible for ensuring SOX compliance along with Audit requirements
  • Organisation of auto-enrolment Pension Scheme
  • Responsible for external payroll related relationships i.e. SAYE, Pension providers
  • Month End balancing of payroll controls
  • Assisting with the Budgeting and Forecasting process
  • Responding to employees regarding pay related queries
  • Creation & Submission of the annual P11D
  • Year-end payroll procedures including P60’s and supplementary information
  • Contributing to process improvement initiatives
  • Creation of Payroll reports as required

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Previous experience within a Payroll Management role
  • Good interpersonal communication skills
  • thoroughness, self-motivation, persistence, resilience and dedication to deadlines.
  • Good numeracy and computer skills especially MS Excel, including formulas and Pivot tables
  • Analytical and logical problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of Payroll systems, with Dayforce preferable
