Manufacturing Technician; Nationwide, £25,000 to £37,000 per annum DOE and responsibility  

A market-leading Manufacturer of High-Specification Industrial Chemicals also offer their customers on-site maintenance expertise with the management and monitoring of their products.  To meet continued demand, an opportunity for an experienced Manufacturing Technician who can also be a great company ambassador now exists at a client’s manufacturing facility nationwide.

Summary of the Manufacturing Technician role

Often working with minimal supervision this is a ‘hands on’ support role carrying out fluid management duties within a manufacturing environment in accordance with the requirements of the maintenance schedule. Duties will involve; monitoring and control of cutting fluid systems, lubrication of plant equipment, management and handling of lubricant stock and cleaning of wash machines.

What’s needed for the Manufacturing Technician position

Applicants must have machine changeover / setting experience, or basic mechanical / maintenance experience gained within a manufacturing or production environment.  Excellent communication skills are also needed in this role and a forklift licence would be preferred but is not essential.
