MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT   

STOKE ON TRENT

FULL TIME – 37 HOURS PER WEEK

TEMPORARY ONGOING

£50-£55K DOE

THE ROLE

• Management of school finance and accounting operations including all ledger management and controls
• Responsible for compiling termly management accounts incorporating variance analysis, KPIs and supporting commentary
• Overseeing payroll and purchase ledger staff
• Monitoring of debtors
• Bank reconciliation
• VAT calculations and returns
• Ensuring correct issuing of invoices
• Supporting Director of Finance

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Previous experience of working in a similar Accountant role would be required
• A CIMA or ACCA qualification
• Excellent communication skills and highly organised
• A good level of IT literacy
