Technical Sales Executive; Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire; £40K-60K basic, OTE up to £90K, depending on experience.
Over 150 years+ of business trading, this engineering company has now established itself as the world leading provider of a specialist range of industrial equipment & machinery and an expert within their field when developing high-technology solutions for complex industrial challenges.
They supply their equipment to a wide range of industries including Mining, Process Manufacturing and Wastewater and they are currently looking to recruit a Technical Sales Executive to undertake technical specifications, produce quotations for service work / upgrades / maintenance contracts and to subsequently secure orders and service agreements.
The duties of the Technical Sales Executive role will involve:
- Achieve agreed annual and monthly order intake and and gross margin targets.
- Focus on winning new key accounts / service contract-based business.
- Manage and retain existing customer base – exercise customer relationship management.
- Sell the whole service product range into the industrial markets.
- Undertake business, market, competitor analysis and prepare rolling annual business development action plan.
- Develop customer strategies and lead customer presentations.
- Work closely with colleagues and other departments, to produce business-winning and timely quotations and tenders.
- Negotiate orders and contracts that represent sound business and limit risk.
Those applying for the Technical Sales Executive vacancy should be experienced Mechanical Engineers, with a successful history within a Sales or Business Development role. Applicants will possess excellent organisational and (written / verbal) communication skills, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
