Description

Working closely with a variety of customers across different platforms, this role will involve sourcing, promoting, managing, and building client relationships primarily based within the UK and generating sales of the products to them to ensure customer satisfaction, team support and business success.

SALES ACCOUNT MANAGER  

STOKE ON TRENT AREA
PERMANENT

FULL TIME 9AM – 5.30PM MON-FRI
CIRCA £28K DOE PLUS SALES BONUS OTE £40K

THE ROLE

Working in a busy office environment, the main duties of this role are as follows:

  • Contact and management of new clients by telephone, email, and other digital communications such as Skype
  • Recording and maintenance on CRM system
  • Client profiling to make targeted stock offers
  • Sales based pricing negotiation and upselling of products and order building
  • Relationship building and business development
  • Monitor and increase sales levels to customers
  • Working to KPI’s to achieve sales targets
  • Promotion of company services such as Sales Portals
  • Visting clients where necessary for business development
  • Proactive sourcing of new customers/clients
  • Introduction of company to new business
  • Attending UK exhibitions to represent the company
  • Order processing and sales forecasting
  • Completion of sales orders and job cards for the Warehouse
  • Liasing with the Purchasing team
  • Develop, maintain and providing exceptional product knowledge to customers
  • Creation of bespoke stock offers for clients
  • Responding to inbound information requests
  • Proactive shipment status checking/delivery monitoring
  • Providing account management cover for Sales & Purchasing staff

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels – building trust & credibility to maintain good relationships and reputation both internally and externally
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Shows initiative and has a positive, pro-active, and collaborative attitude
  • Ability to work flexibly as part of a team to achieve company targets and deadlines in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Motivated to continuously learn and improve and possesses strong, relevant IT capabilities
