Working closely with a variety of customers across different platforms, this role will involve sourcing, promoting, managing, and building client relationships primarily based within the UK (with some overseas) generating sales of the products to ensure customer satisfaction, team support and business success. This will include both existing clients and new prospects.
SALES ACCOUNT MANAGER
STOKE ON TRENT AREA

FULL TIME 9AM – 5.30PM MON-FRI
CIRCA £28K DOE PLUS SALES BONUS (OTE UP TO £40K)
THE ROLE
- Promote products and services at best prices/times/quantities based on customer profiling – this includes bespoke offers, upselling, cross-selling, negotiation and closing
- Understand customer needs and provide exceptional service levels
- Accurate and speedy quote preparation, order processing and CRM account updates as well as conducting due diligence on new prospects
- Contact and management of new and existing clients by telephone, email, face to face, Skype, WhatsApp and Linked In
- Client profiling to make targeted stock offers
- Sales based pricing negotiation and order building
- Working to KPI’s to achieve sales targets
- Visting clients where necessary for business development purposes
- Proactive sourcing of new customers/clients
- Attending UK (and overseas where necessary) exhibitions to represent the company
- Proactive shipment status checking/delivery monitoring
- Providing account management cover for Sales & Purchasing staff
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels – building trust & credibility to maintain good relationships and reputation both internally and externally
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but applications will be considered from those looking to develop a career in sales account management
- Initiative and a positive, pro-active, and collaborative attitude
- Ability to work flexibly as part of a team to achieve company targets and deadlines in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Motivated to continuously learn and improve and possesses strong, relevant IT capabilities
- A full UK Driving Licence as occasional travel to client sites could be required
