Field Service Engineer; Northern England and Scotland; £40-45K plus £add-ons.

Following 150 years+ trading, this company is now the world leading provider of a specialist range of industrial separation equipment & machinery and an expert within their field when developing high-technology solutions for complex industrial challenges. They supply their products to a wide range of industries including Mining, Process Manufacturing and Wastewater and they are currently looking to recruit a Field Service Engineer to carry out field-based duties at customer sites, on their range of products.

The Field Service Engineer role will involve;

• On-site service, repair and commissioning work which will require some overnight stays across the North UK
• Reverse engineering damaged parts and components
• Working from engineering drawings
• Using a range of hand/ power tools and occasional machining work with Lathes and Milling machines

Those interested in applying for the Field Service Engineer vacancy should be experienced or time-served Mechanical Engineers who have experience of working with fast-moving mechanical parts and components. Those applying should be able to work from engineering drawings and have excellent communication / problem solving skills.

Electronic / electrical qualifications / knowledge would be desirable but are not essential to the role.
