MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

STOKE ON TRENT

FULL TIME HOURS – 8.30AM TO 5PM MON-FRI

PERMANENT

UP TO £35K DEPENDANT ON EXPERIENCE

We are recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer where you will take full control of projects from the handover of the contract specification through to the design, approval and monitoring the build.

THE ROLE

• All aspects of mechanical design drawing both concept outline & detail production
• Ensuring products are in line with current legislative requirements such as C.E, HSE etc
• Specifying products & components for purchase
• Sales, workshop, technical and site technical support
• Liaison with customer, vendors & subcontractors
• Ensuring that standards with the engineering & contracts execution are kept in order
• Support aftermarket sales where required – including item master and QAD data entry
• Close liaison with the client to ensure the project meets its expected return

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Commitment, drive and enthusiasm as well as being business focused.
• Previous experience in design, mechanical engineering, AutoCAD – within engineering is required.
• Previous experience in Autodesk inventor design package, knowledge of pressure filtration and industrial processes is preferred but training can be provided.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Candidate must have a driving licence
