The purpose of this role is to deliver excellent customer service from order acceptance through to delivery of product, ensuring a Right First-Time attitude to all customer orders.

CUSTOMER SERVICE COORDINATOR
LEEK AREA

FULL TIME HOURS 8.45AM – 5PM MON-FRI
PERMANENT
UP TO £28K DOE PLUS EXCELLENT BENEFITS

THE ROLE

• Maintain effective communication with customers
• Receive new orders from customers and process on SAP after checking availability, price and agreeing a delivery date with the customer and subsequently keeping customers advised of any delays
• Arranging sample requests and pre-shipment samples where required
• Despatch of Samples via courier when other staff are not available
• Undertake regular Training to be able to raise documentation for hazardous airfreight shipments and check product labelling is correct prior to despatch
• Log and follow through customer complaints
• Creation of new Accounts
• Ensure Customer Master Data is kept up to date
• Manage the allocation of bulk finished material in storage to upcoming customer orders and arrange PSS where required
• Liaise with Production to plan schedules if a particular product is in short supply
• Process end of Month Consignment stock
• Liaise with Logistics department regarding any changes to delivery dates

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Previous experience within an office based customer service role
• Excellent communication skills and highly organised
• A good level of IT literacy to include MS Excel

Due to the location of the Customer Services Coordinator role, it is advisable for interested applicants to possess their own transport as access to our client’s site is extremely limited via public transport.
