Continuous Improvement Leader; Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire; circa £45,000 plus bonus
One of North Staffordshire's leading engineering organisations is recruiting. This company has enjoyed significant growth and expansion in recent years and is looking forward to a packed order book over the foreseeable future. This exciting opportunity on the company’s management team will play a key role in the future success and improvement of the business.
The Continuous Improvement Leader will lead continuous improvement and LEAN projects within the business. The main purpose of the role is to design, implement and lead improvement initiatives. Responsibilities will involve;
- Using methodology such as 5S, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Lean, Value Stream Mapping and Continuous Improvement.
- Identifying areas across the business for improvement.
- Designing structured improvement project cycles.
- Creating and leading improvement teams.
- Evaluating and measuring improvement projects and their success.
Applicants should have a successful history of identifying, leading and delivering continuous improvement projects and evaluating their success. Those applying should be tenacious and self motivated with the ability to engage with and motivate individuals in a wide range of roles. A comprehensive knowledge of Continuous Improvement tools and techniques and the ability to use these practically is essential.
