This opportunity involves playing a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.  This role will cover the UK as a whole, offering a combination of hybrid working - Home, Office & Field based work.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

STOKE ON TRENT
FULL TIME PERMANENT
UP TO £35K DOE PLUS UNCAPPED COMMISSION  

THE ROLE

  • Develop and execute lead generation strategies across various channels
  • Utilise data and analytics to identify and target potential customers
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to optimise lead generation campaigns
  • Conduct research to identify and qualify potential leads
  • Tailor outreach strategies to engage with target demographics or industries
  • Initiate and maintain effective communication with potential customers
  • Nurture leads through the sales funnel, addressing their unique needs
  • Develop and implement strategies to convert leads into active accounts
  • Work closely with sales team to ensure a seamless transition from lead generation to customer activation
  • Analyse and interpret data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Use analytics tools to measure the success of campaigns and make data-driven decisions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and customer success
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, interactions, and account activation processes
  • Document best practices and success stories to share with the team.
  • Propose and implement continuous improvement initiatives for enhanced efficiency

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Proven experience in lead generation, prospecting and account activation
  • Proven track record in new business B2B sales
  • Strong communication, analytical and data interpretation skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a passion for sales
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • A full clean driving licence with the flexibility to travel when required
